Flight. Re-imagined.

DRA GmbH, as the German aircraft OEM, in collaboration with its partners Sierra Nevada Corporation & 328 Support Services GmbH, will enable the future developments of the D328NEU aircraft, and exploit future technologies and capabilities to produce a more efficient, economic and environmentally friendly aircraft.

With the support of its partners, DRA GmbH is putting the D328 aircraft back into production, working through strategic regional relationships to gain strong and lasting footholds in the growing markets and economies of the world, as well as addressing the needs and aspirations of future generations, for cleaner, safer and more efficient air travel - and protecting our planet.

The D328NEU project is expected to leverage the creation of over 250 new jobs at the new Leipzig‘s facilities, with a further 100+ at 328SSG’s HQ in Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich.

The Why:

Changing regulations, environmental demands, cost sensitivity and passenger expectations have created a climate of change in the industry with growing new domestic and regional routes - linking communities together, opening significant replacement market opportunity today for the existing aircraft fleet.

The Where:

DRA GmbH’s final assembly line of the D328NEU is planned to be located at Leipzig Halle airport, in the State of Saxony. The first prototypes & certification phases will be undertaken by 328SSG at their facilities in Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich.
